REACHnet studies are required to be:
  • Collaborative across network partners
  • Patient-centered
    [Patients are involved as partners in research, not only as research subjects]
It is preferred and strongly encouraged that REACHnet studies are:
  • Pragmatic
    [Recruitment and ongoing data collection is embedded in healthcare delivery systems]
  • Comparative effectiveness research
    [Compares health outcomes and the effectiveness, risk/harms and benefits of two or more treatments or services]
  • Aligned with REACHnetand/or PCORI priority research topics
