Learn about past and ongoing projects that have benefited from REACHnet's tools and resources.
REACHnet began with an initial 18-month project period building the health systems, information technology, governance, organizational, and regulatory (e.g., human subjects protection) infrastructure to establish a functioning clinical data research network (CDRN). Specifically, the project was designed to advance the capacity to conduct efficient clinical research on two highly prevalent health conditions, obesity and diabetes, and two low prevalence conditions, sickle cell disease and rare cancers.
REACHnet is consistently engaged across the spectrum of clinical research and retrospective investigation. Projects include efforts guided by, funded by, or involving REACHnet. Related efforts may also include the Health in Our Hands patient network. Take a look at what we're currently up to.
REACHnet is dedicated to providing interested stakeholders with education on capabilities of the network. Presentations can be tailored to provide:
REACHnet works with local and national research partners to implement both small- and large-scale multi-site pragmatic trials. The diverse patient population served by our partner health systems enables studies to recruit a highly representative sample of participants to produce evidence that is broadly generalizable and has the potential to meaningfully inform healthcare decision-making.
